Heated Protest Erupts Outside DC Police Station After Fatal Scooter Crash – NBC4 Washington

A heated protest appeared outside a D.C. police station for the second successive night as the household of a man who passed away after he was hit by a car while riding a scooter blames cops for causing his death.

Cops backed protesters away from the station, News4's Shomari Stone reported.

Some protesters threw rocks, bricks and fireworks at authorities, while numerous stayed serene. Cops returned with percussion grenades and flash bangs as they moved protesters blocks away from the station.
