Four from Port Angeles charged in Kitsap chiropractor burglaries – Kitsap Sun

Four individuals from Port Angeles are presumed of burglarizing several Kitsap County chiropractic workplaces due to the fact that, as one suspect informed an investigator, they believed the workplaces would have cash.

That suspect admitted to getting into many chiropractic workplaces, or attempting to, that he could not keep track of how many.

When Paul Allen Spoon, 41, of Port Angeles, was questioned if he had actually attempted to break into an office in Silverdale, he stated he could not recall however confessed was most likely.

Spoon has a history of theft. In 2011 he pleaded guilty in Clallam County Superior Court to a series of break-ins and was sentenced to three years in jail, according to online court records. When regional private investigators contacted police in Spoon's house county, Sequim authorities said Spoon was a suspect in as lots of as 15 robberies there and he confessed to attempting to burglarize a Port Ludlow, Jefferson County, chiropractic workplace, according to court records.

Spoon was charged Friday in Kitsap County Superior Court with four counts of second-degree robbery. He pleaded not guilty and is now in custody in Port Angeles, dealing with separate theft and theft

charges in Clallam County Superior Court. The alleged theft streak was interrupted by deputies in South Kitsap who were called at 5:26 a.m. Wednesday to examine a burglary at a chiropractic office on Bethel Avenue.

While at the scene, deputies found out Bremerton cops were examining robberies earlier that morning at 2 offices in the city. Bremerton cops passed along details on the suspects' automobile, a dark-colored minivan, according to court documents.

Deputies then noticed a minivan matching the description was parked at Hello Joy Bowl bowling street and 3 individuals inside the car were collared.

Deputies then discovered that Spoon was inside a chiropractic workplace throughout the street. He was collared at gunpoint.

In total, court records say authorities were investigating reports of break-ins or attempted break-ins at nine Kitsap chiropractic workplaces: three in South Kitsap, 2 in Bremerton and 4 in Silverdale.

Thieves were unable to get in all the businesses, and significant losses were not reported in all the businesses that had been gotten in. Spoon informed an investigator that at one workplace in Bremerton, an accomplice stole just a framed image of a flower that was holding on the wall. The photo was recuperated.
