More Than $2-Million Missing From Scheme, According To Forfeiture Order. Delray Beach Home Heavily Mortgaged.
Public records show Davidson's home in Seven Bridges– in Delray Beach– was purchased for$1,585,514 on
October 3, 2018, however mortgaged for$1,310,000. From the United States Department of Justice:
“According to the plea arrangement, in 2018, Davidson and his conspirators established a corporation of resilient medical equipment(“DME”)supply companies. During the development of the companies, they lied to Medicare to protect billing advantages. The scheme included positioning the companies in the names of straw owners. By hiding their real ownership, the conspirators secretly acquired control of several business, which Medicare restricts. This enabled the conspirators to send high volumes of unlawful DME claims while trying to evade law enforcement examination. In one year, through the corporation, Davidson and his conspirators submitted more than $20 million in unlawful DME claims, leading to more than $10 million in payments from Medicare and the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (“CHAMPVA”).”
Davidson faces up to ten years in jail. A sentencing date has actually not been set. Davidson plead guilty simply days after the “information” was filed.
